Roman medical instruments I

Roman medical instruments are characterized by multifunctionality, as this is evident in combination scalpel/dissector and forceps/scalpel.

Various archaeological remains serve as a source of evidence of Roman medical tools. Along with those archaeological findings and ancient text we can now understand how Romans were using each of those items.
